After a bitter unseasoned vegetable
dish the vet took

two shots to the torso. Radishes bled
like chopped up bolts.

Reparation lawyers beamed down.
Off switch or soup?

Teething Ring

Beneath a triangulated mobile
Mocking oranges, reds and blues,
My child, already behind bars,
Registers justice by the wind,

By how light goes in and out of focus
In a fractal universe, where touch
Milks flesh of all resilience
And silence smells identity --

Though little silence here, where help-
Lessness spasms & clenches to divide
Nightmares from the real
Sand from solid blocks of blood.
