The Floe Goes

The Floe Goes

The Floe Goes (2008)

[Click on image above to see the view with binoculars.]

A cub
looks at an expanse
of chunks. No camping on top
of the remaining world.

Our matter-of-fact excavation is
ahead of schedule.

Fair winds
better get cracking
or else. A pale polar bear
has a survival rush.

What did you expect? It's August. In Arkansas.

Image intially made with Fractal Zplot. Post-processed until a continental shelf collapsed. Text is a found "Google poem" collaged together from search strings of the floe goes.
